Engineering reference system

Bearing Cross Reference by Part Number

Have a bearing number or brand reference to review? Send the full designation, dimensions and available drawing or BOM. LTO can review reference specifications, check sourcing options and provide a quotation or technical clarification when appropriate.

A reference match is not a verified interchangeable replacement. Final suitability requires specification review.

How bearing cross references should be used

A shared basic designation can help identify a bearing family or dimensional starting point. It does not by itself confirm internal geometry, tolerance, clearance, cage, seal, lubricant, load rating or speed capability.

LTO does not claim automatic interchangeability. Every candidate requires specification review against the original drawing, catalogue data and operating conditions.

What to send for a part-number review

  • The complete bearing number, brand or original reference, including suffixes.
  • Known dimensions, the drawing reference and any specification requirements.
  • A model list or BOM, required quantity and the operating conditions available.

Start with the details you have in the inquiry form. For drawing or BOM files, contact us to arrange file sharing; selecting a file alone does not confirm it has been transmitted.

From designation review to a sourcing inquiry

We review the submitted designation, compare available dimensional and specification references, and check sourcing options. Where the requirement is sufficiently defined, we can provide quotation support; where details are missing, we request technical clarification first.

This is an engineering review request, not an automated cross-reference chart approving a substitute. Brand references identify the information to review and do not imply brand authorization.

Engineering review sequence

  1. Record the complete brand and designation, including every suffix.
  2. Confirm the family-specific boundary and mounting dimensions.
  3. Compare tolerance, clearance, cage, sealing and lubrication details.
  4. Review load, speed, temperature, environment and required life.
  5. Approve the offered specification and drawing before ordering.

Reference information safeguards

Reference information is limited to engineering and dimensional review. A matching part number or dimension is only a starting point: compare the offered specification and confirm suitability before ordering.
