How to Use This Bearing Size Chart
Start with the bearing family, then read its column headings before comparing metric bearing sizes. All dimensions below are in millimetres; a dash means that the recorded source does not provide that value.
- Standard radial bearings: d = bore diameter, D = outside diameter and B = bearing width.
- Tapered roller bearings: d and D describe the bore and outside diameter; T = total bearing width. B and C, when available, describe the inner-ring and outer-ring widths separately. Do not substitute T for B.
- Insert bearings: use shaft diameter, spherical outside diameter and inner ring width from the insert-specific dimension schema.
- Pillow block units: use shaft diameter, overall length, overall height, center height, bolt spacing and insert inner ring width from the housing-specific dimension schema.
Different bearing families do not use one universal d/D/B dimension schema.
